Srinagar/June,6 : Jammu & Kashmir Students Welfare Organisatuon (JKSWO) Saturday demanded admission to post graduate courses at Kashmir University through online entrance examination.
In a statement issued here on Saturday the President Jammu and kashmir Students Welfare Organization (JKSWO) Majid Rashid Wani while demanding admission to PG courses on the basis of online entrance examination to Assess the merit
said “request to the VC university of Kashmir, we the students desirous of seeking Admission in various PG courses implored to your good self to issue orders of online examination to Assess the merit of the candidates”, adding that “If the students are selected on the basis of merit of the UG degrees,we object to such selection processes because of flaws in the examination system and it is possible that many students might have been awarded high percentage marks due to Nepotism, Favouritism and other unfair practices”. Saying that “to ensure transparency assessing the worth of the candidates on the basis of their performance in online examination will satisfy the aspirations of the aspiring students and no one will raise the question of the credibility of the selection processes if fallowed as per our request in a time bound manner as early as possible”. He hoped for an early response to the demand from Vice Chancellor Kashmir University.
