Srinagar/Jan,5 : Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Aijaz Ahmad Khan on Friday sought the restoration of transport services before asking employees to resume their duties amid COVID-19 lockdown.
In a statement issued here on Friday Khan said the government unfortunately imposes decisions without their scope for implementation on ground. He said it is quite impossible for the employees to resumed their duties amid unprecedented rise in the COVID-19 pandemic spread . Saying that on one hand the government asks the employees to resume their but on the other hand both the employees and the general masses are asked to maintain social distancing and comply lockdown guidelines. He urged the government to ensure availability of transport services to employees before asking them to resume duties.
