DM Pulwama reviews functioning of quarantine centers

Pulwama: District Magistrate Pulwama (DM), Dr Raghav Langer chaired a meeting convened to review the functioning of quarantine centers established in the district in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, here Thursday.
The DM said the frontline workers and staff deputed at quarantine centres should be properly equipped with PPEs and adopt precautionary measures for preventing further infection.
During the meeting several issues related to provision of basic facilities including Medical, water supply, electricity, lodging and sanitation to the inmates staying at Quarantine Centres (QC) were discussed in detail.
On the occasion, DM directed the concerned officers that all requisite facilities must be provided to the inmates staying at Quarantine Centres. He directed for construction of additional toilet points, maintaining of cleanliness in and around QC. He asked the nodal officers to work in tandem with line departments for arranging basic facilities including drinking water facilities, electricity at these Quarantine Centres.
DM directed health officials for routine checkup of the quarantined people and update regular reporting on valid format with full information.
ADC’s Pulwama, Tral and Awantipora, CMO, Medical Superintendent, Nodal officer incharges of Quarantine Centres, Tehsildars, BMO’s, attended the meeting.
