COVID-19: DDC Kupwara reviews power, water facilities of SDH Kralpora

Kupwara: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg, today, convened a meeting of the officers to review power and water supply facilities at Sub District Hospital Kralpora, presently, designated as Quarantine Facility Centre in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned Executive Engineer to install a transformer at the site so that uninterrupted power supply is provided to the facility centre. He asked the engineers of PHE division to ensure that adequate drinking water supply to made available in the centre early.
While reviewing the sanitation arrangements, the DDC directed the officers of concerned department to mobilize all available resources and carry out regular cleanliness in and around the Centre to avoid spread of any infection there.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, JD Planning, SE JKPDC North Circle, DGM JKPCC Kupwara, Ex. Er. JKPDC Kupwara, Exen STD Sopore, AEE PHE Kupwara, Tehsildar and BMO Kralpora besides other concerned were present in the meeting.
Earlier, DDC chaired a meeting with ADC Handwara, DFO Langate, DFO Social Forestry Kupwara and Tehsildar Handwara and thoroughly discussed the steps taken for auctioning of Wood lot at Bakhiakhar, Mali Shanoo in the Handwara Sub Division.
He directed the concerned officers to make proper arrangements so that auction of the wood lot is held in a transparent manner after fulfilling of codal formalities.
