Srinagar: A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Srinagar outskirts on Sunday, official sources said.
They said 15-year-old boy was critically injured when he was hit by a speeding vehicle near Nowgam bypass in Srinagar outskirts on Sunday. “The injured, identified as Mohammad Rubani, was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead,” they said.
“The driver of the vehicle has been arrested and investigation has been initiated into the incident,” they said.
They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
