Div Com (J) reviews progress on Udhampur-Srinagar -Baramulla Rail link

Jammu: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma, Saturday convened a meeting to review progress of work on Udhampur-Srinagar -Baramulla Rail link (USBRL) Project.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Engineer, Banihal, Assistant Commissioner Central, Jatinder Mishra and other concerned officers while Deputy Commissioners Ramban and Reasi along with other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing.
A threadbare discussion was held on various land issues related to the project.
The Div Com sought details of all land acquisition cases under the projects in Reasi and Ramban districts. He directed the DCs to issue final awards pending in their districts at the earliest.
The executing agencies informed that the works have been resumed and are being executed amid strict adherence to prescribed guidelines and SOPs regarding COVID-19.
The Div Com asked executing agencies to follow all precautionary measures while executing works and ensure testing of labourers who are coming from other places.
