Jammu: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Avny Lavasa Friday distributed POS terminal machines for collection of revenue.
The POS terminals were provided to authorized officials of JMC for collection of the revenue generated from the assets of the corporation.
While highlighting the benefits of the e-revenue collection through POS terminals, the Commissioner JMC said through this facility it will become easier and faster for JMC tenants to pay their monthly rent at their doorsteps without following old and cumbersome method. He said the it will also minimize mistakes, paper work and lessen burden on the accounts personnel as well as making the monitoring operations easier for the administration. She further added that this will also improve tenants’ service by creating a dependable database.
