Jammu: Chief Secretary B.V.R Subhramanyam has extended warm greetings to the people of the Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his message, the Chief Secretary said the festival is celebrated upon culmination of the Holy month of Ramadhan a pious month, marked by feeling of compassion towards humanity, eagerness to extend helping hand to those who are suffering, focusing on charity and good deeds, seeking refuge in Almighty against evil and providing opportunities to devotees for self introspection and nurturing values of compassion.
On this occasion, the Chief Secretary prayed for prosperity and happiness for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
