Srinagar: The 17 INF Brigade Nowgam of the Indian Army on Saturday distributed food items and cash among the needy persons in the area.
Reports said the cash and food items were distributed among the needy, widows and poor persons of the area. Soldiers and officers also educated the people about the precautions to be taken to contain the spread of virus.
The citizens of the area hailed the efforts of the army for helping the poor in difficult times.
