Applications invited for Chairman JK BOSE till June 15,2020

Srinagar/May,23:Jammu and Kashmir Government has invited applications for the post of Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Board Of School Education (J&K BOSE) which should reach the office of the Principal Secretary School Education Department latest by June 15 this year. The post is likely to be vacated by incumbent J&K BOSE Chairperson Vienna Pandita presently holding the post on post retirement extension of three months.
According to the advertisement notification issued by the Government the intending candidate should be an officer of All India Service or Kashmir Administrative Service holding the pay scale of Rs 37400-6700(Pre revised) with three years of experience in educational administration. It is for the first time that officers of All India Services and Kashmir Administrative Service have been declared eligible for the post of JK BOSE Chairman/Chairperson as otherwise a search committee constituted by the government would recommend a suitable candidate of the Degree College Principle rank officer of the J&K Higher Education Department for the coveted position of J&K BOSE Chairman /Chairperson. Never ever in the past government had advertised the post which now likely to be filled under new controversial domicile law under new procedures. Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (J&K BOSE) not only holds examinations upto class 12 but also designs syllabus for classes from basic primary class level upto class 12.
