Srinagar: Senior Congress leader and former union minister on Tuesday in a statement issued here on Tuesday said “as a citizen conscious of my duty to the people, I reject the ( Adaptation of state laws certificate ( procedure rules)2020. The matter is already before the Supreme Court which has constituted a Bench for the hearing”.
Soz said “It is no longer a secret that that SC and the Govt are working in tandem to usurp the democratic rights of the people of Jammu & Kahmir. This order of the Union Territory govt is illegal and unconstitutional and it is murder of democracy”.
He appealed the people of Jammu & Kashmir to organize a strong sustained democratic and transparent movement for restoration of their democratic and constitutional rights .
