Kupwara: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir along with Tehsildar and other concerned officers Tuesday visited Red Zone Gonipora of Handwara sub division and took stock of basic facilities provided to the people.
On the occasion, ADC distributed 50 essential commodity kits among the needy people of the Red Zone Area, and urged upon people to stay at home for containment of spread of COVID-19.
The ADC visited Quarantine Centres established at Government Degree College Handwara and Government Higher Secondary School Langate, and took stock of facilities being provided to the students, labourers and other people quarantined at these centres.
He also interacted with the inmates who expressed their satisfaction over facilities provided to them.
