DC Jammu interacts with passengers, asks them to follow SOPs

Jammu : Another COVID special train carrying around 952 passengers Saturday reached Jammu Railway Station. The Jammu district administration is facilitating the return of stranded people of J&K to their homes in the wake of COVID-19 Lockdown.
Deputy Commissioner, Sushma Chauhan along with other senior officers received the Rajdhani train and had a brief interaction with the passengers.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that various kiosks have been set up for ensuring 100 percent sampling of all the passengers and samples of every passenger are being collected at the platfor She further informed that the district administration has made elaborate arrangements for receiving these stranded people and has ensured that during the boarding and de-boarding process, the passengers observe social distancing and wear masks. The administration has also engaged around 54 buses through RTO Jammu for their hassle free journey towards their home districts.
The DC, while wishing safe and comfortable onward journey to the passengers, appealed to them to cooperate with the district authorities in ensuring strict adherence to the guidelines regarding COVID-19.
