Rajouri/May, 15: The body of a 19-year-old boy was on Friday exhumed in Rajouri for autopsy as part of investigation.
Police sources boy of one youth Shabir Ahmad son of Ramim Ahmed of Saranoo village who died a week ago was exhumed for the purposes of investigation. His family buried him at their ancestral graveyard, considering it natural death. However, after the matter came into notice of police, they became suspicious about cause of the death.
“On the orders of District Magistrate Rajouri, the body was exhumed today by a team of doctors for completing medico-legal formalities,” police sources said, adding that body has been exhumed after eight days of burial. Dr. Javed Iqbal, Deputy Medical Superintendent of GMC Rajouri, who was also part of team of doctors said that body has been exhumed on the orders of District Magistrate
