Srinagar: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JKEJCC) Aijaz Ahmad Khan on Thursday hailed Chief Justice Jammu & Kashmir High Court Justice Gita Mittal for recommending separate benches of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for Jammu and Srinagar to hear the service matters of Jammu & Kashmir employees.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Khan said not the traditional politicians who were part of several popular governments in Jammu & Kashmir in yesteryears but Chief Justice Jammu & Kashmir High Court Justice Gita Mital has come to the rescue of Jammu & Kashmir employees. Urging Minister of State (MoS) In the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dr Jitendra Singh to take an early call on the letter written to him by Chief Justice J&K High Court Justice Gitta Mital and announce separate benches of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) at the earliest, the Chairman EJCC thanked Justice Gita Mittal for her timely intervention over the idea of separate CAT benches in Srinagar and Jammu.
