DC Kulgam visits quarantine centers

Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat Tuesday visited several Quarantine Centers in the district. He was accompanied by ADC, Shabir Hussian Bhat, Officer on Special duty for CIVID-19 Parvaiz Raina, ACR Mir Imtiyaz ul Aziz, CMO, Fazil Kochak, MS, Muzzafar Ahmad, DSP Hq, Shafaat Hussain, and other officers of district administration.
The DC inspected the facilities made available in these quarantine centers. He also directed to establish additional washrooms at quarantine center at Government degree college Kulgam.
Later he visited Red Zone area of Chattabal and directed the officers to ensure strict enforcement of restriction and ensure no inward or outward movement of people take place.
He also appealed people to stay home and follow the advisories of health department and local administration strictly.
Notably District administration has already declared several areas as Red and Buffer Zones to break the chain of coronavirus infection and aggressive contact tracing going on.
