DC Budgam takes stocks of catering services at quarantine centers

Budgam : Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganai Tuesday took stock of standard of food and other facilities made available at all established quarantine centers across the district at a meeting convened here Tuesday. The DC also reviewed status of medical facilities kept available for migrant laborers at their established campus where food is also being served to the stranded laborers through district administration.
District Magistrate said to equip Covid-19 wellness centers in many areas of Tehsil Khansahab, the district administration has already released Rs. 10 lac and placed them at the disposal of CMO Budgam for onward spending on procurement of Medical equipments and other items for Covid-19 wellness centers setup at TRC Doodhpathri and Degree College Khansahab.
The DM said there will be no compromise on quality and quantity and all efforts are being made to provide catering services at all quarantine locations in time. He further added that each person put in quarantine is provided Rs. 225 each day on account of catering charges.
The DM stated any complaint or grievances reported to this office in this regard shall be taken seriously and action as warranted under rules will be initiated.
All concerned were instructed to maintain transparency while incurring expenditure related to quarantine centers.
