Ganderbal : District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal Monday visited Sanik School Manasbal which is nominated administrative quarantine center and inspected arrangements being put in place for inmates.
The DDC was accompanied by ADC, Farooq Ahmad Baba, President Municipal Committee Ganderbal and other concerned.
While reviewing the facilities being put in place, the DDC asked the officers to ensure greater coordination at all levels so that adequate arrangements and logistics work smoothly.
He stressed on the need of strict adherence to all the prescribed guidelines especially maintaining social distance besides providing other services to inmates to prevent the spread of corona virus.
The DDC expressed satisfaction over the status of arrangements in place for facilitating the people in administrative quarantines.
On the occasion, he also interacted with inmates who were satisfied with facilities and appreciated the administration for providing hygienic and healthy eatables besides other facilities.
He said the administration is geared up to tackle any emergency that may arise due to the corona virus pandemic and assured that district administration is always available for people living in red zones and other areas of the district.
Stressing on proper sanitation and fumigation of all quarantine centers, the concerned were directed to ensure daily cleaning and lifting of garbage and waste material from the quarantine centers for its proper disposal.
