Jammu: Samba Police on Sunday said that they have busted a militant hideout and recovered grenades and bullets from Gourab area of the district.
“We have recovered a cache of ammunition and explosives in the Gouran area late on Saturday night,” Shakti Pathak, SSP Samba here told reporters.
He said that the recovery included 54 live rounds of AK- 47 and three primed live Chinese made Hand Grenades (2 of HG of mark ARGES, 01 HG of mark 86-P/632)
A case FIR No. 120/2020 U/S 7/25 Arms Act, 3/4 Explosive Substance Act registered at P/S Samba, he said.
