Srinagar/ May, 7 : A Covid-19 patient died on Wednesday evening at SMHS hospital Srinagar and with this coronavirus death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has risen to 9.
Medical superintendent SMHS hospital, Dr Nazir Chowdary while confirming the death said that a 38-year-old man, who hails from Alamgari Bazar area of Srinagar was admitted in the hospital on May 05. ”He was tested positive yesterday and died on late Wednesday evening,” he said.
Earlier, eight people have died due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir. With new death, the toll has reached nine in Jammu and Kashmir and pertinently only one death has been reported from Jammu. Eight deaths have been reported from Kashmir.
