Baramulla: Continuing its efforts to scale up anti-Corana activities, District Magistrate (DM), Baramulla, Dr. G N Itoo Tuesday issued strict warning to those who are reluctant to use face masks as a precautionary measure to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 pandemic.
In this regard the DM issued an order appealing people to adopt all the preventive measures especially wearing face masks and warned of that strict legal action against the violators, which can be both fine and imprisonment. The order also enjoined upon all the concerned controlling officers and their staff members to attend the offices in full protective gear.
Moreover, various executive magistrates and flying squads have been nominated/constituted to monitor whether masks are being used by the people and take appropriate legal action against the violators.
