Srinagar/May,4: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee
(JK EJCC), Aijaz Ahmad Khan, on Monday visited Sheri-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), in Srinagar, to encourage the doctors and paramedics there.
On reading SKIMS Khan said that the doctors, paramedics and other frontline warriors are playing a vital role in the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19).
He said that all the staff members in SKIMS Soura, are working 24×7, to serve the people, which is quite appreciable.
“I salute the doctors, paramedics and other staff members here, who are working day & night to serve people in the time of COVID-19. I pray to Almighty Allah for the success of the initiatives health specialists are taking to combat this virus,” Khan said.
He was accompanied by his associates and colleagues including Sheikh Aijaz, Khawaja Sajad Reshid, Khalild Mahmood Khan, Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Malik Ghulam Hassan, Farooq Ahmad Qawa, Aashiq Hussain, Showkat Nowshahri, Inayat Hussain & Tasleema Subhan.
Non-gazzetted employees welfare association (NGEWA), president, Ishtiyaq Beigh, was also present on the occasion , who along with Khan met Director SKIMS, Prof (Dr) A G Ahanger, and hailed the efforts made by him along with his staff.
