Srinagar/May,1 : Principal Secretary School Education on Friday reached out to teachers on twitter as he applauded a higher secondary lecturer of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district for holding a class on mobile zoom app by changing the room of his residential house into a class room. Replying to Samoon’s tweet a female teacher however retweeted Dr Samoon with a complaint that students of poor families enrolled with Government schools can’t afford to have smart phones as otherwise class rooms like the one organised by Kulgam lecturer can be held by all teachers from their residential houses.
Taking to micro blogging social networking site twitter Samoon wrote “Lecturer in zoology Mr Bilal Ahmed Bhat posted at Higher sec school at Danyao-kandimarg village of Kulgam District in South Kashmir teaching his students through zoom app from his home Yourkhushipora, Qazigund yesterday; many salutes to such dedicated teachers”. He also uploaded wit his tweet the picture of the room changed by the Kulgam lecturer into a class room”. Thrilled by the encouraging words from Samoon the Kulgam lecturer in her re-tweet wrote “Thank you sir I just persued my duty but I, ll be applauded by ur highness is oll the blessing from Allah bcz my top officer hasn’t used the word sro202 lecturer for me like others do”. In his reply to the lecturer’s retweet Samoon wrote again “you are our asset for education department; together we teach our kids and make a difference for our future generations InshaAllah: never loose hope; after every difficulty follows ease as we all know: انّہ مع العسرِ یسراً”.

However a female government school teacher Jaha Aarah Jaha in her reaction to Samoon’s tweet talked about the unaffordability of smart phones by poor children enrolled with the government run schools as she wrote “Sir it is possible only in higher classes as100% of students have smart phones..but it is not possible in primary classes because most of the students belong to poor families and don’t have smart phones and in some cases they don’t know how to access it….Jaha Aarah Jaha@JahaAarah”.
