Adopt old payment system to ensure disbursement of salaries in time : Aijaz Khan to LG, CS, FC Finance

Srinagar/April,30: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JK EJCC) and President CAPD employees Association Aijaz Ahmad Khan has urged Lt Governor Grish Chandra Murmu, Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam and Financial Commissioner Finance A K Mehta to ensure disbursement of salaries to all government employees in time.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Khan said that pay and accounts system introduced by the government is not working properly due to which the salaries are not disbursed to employees in time in the present difficult situation. He said that delay Iin disbursement of salaries to employees is breaking the chain of money circulation and consequently multiplying the financial woes of the people in the present trying times.
He impressed upon Lt Governor Grish .Chandra Murmu , chief secretary B V R Subrahmanyam and Financial Commissioner Finance A K Mehta to adopt the old system of payments till the covid 19 catastrophe vanishes
Khan has also urged the Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department Bashir Ahmad khan to arrange and issue (PPE )life safely kits to all field staff and allied workers who are presently working on ground to provide the rations to the public.
