“Sr Lecturer Farooq Lone’s deeds, teachings will remain in the hearts of his students, Salute him on his superannuation “, Says Qayoom Wani

Srinagar/April, 29: Former President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and civil society leader Abdul Qayoom Wani on Wednesday tributed senior lecturer Higher Secondary School Nihalpora Farooq Lone on attaining superannuation and said that Lone’s deeds and teachings will always remain in the hearts of his students.
In a statement issued on Wednesday Wani said “every Teacher has to retire one day, but their deeds and their teachings always remain in the hearts of their students and with whom he/she would have rendered his/her services”. Saying that “I pay my rich tribute to Farooq Ahmad Lone resident of Goiwa Nehalpora (Pattan), who is retiring as senior lecturer (commerce) from Higher Secondary School Nihalpora Pattan at the end of this Month” Wani said that he has spent . good time of his life with senior lecturer Farooq Ahmad Lone retiring by the month end now .

Saying that during this passage of time, Farooq Lone remained on key positions in teacher’s forum and also rendered his services as Chief Spokesperson, Chief Legal Advisor and Core Committee Member,Wani recalled Lone’s contributions for restoring the dignity and honour of teaching community in difficult time”
Saying that Lone always guided him towards the right path, Wani recalled his association both as a teacher and as well as a trade unionist with Lone till retirement . Teaming Lone his close friend, guide and Mentor, Wani said that his relation with Lone will continue till death. Saying that “contribution of this great soul towards his department and Trade Union can’t be neglected at any cost”, Wani recalled that Lone was given Best Teacher award by an International Forum which makes his tremendous contribution and love towards his services evident. Saying that Lone is not only a teacher but also a social worker as well, Wani said “Lone’s tremendous contribution as a teacher and social worker is evident and known to everybody”, Wani said “I pay my salute to this legend, scholar, educationist and God fearing leader on his honourable retirement on April 30 and hope his post retirement life will be more graceful.
