Jammu : To boost and strengthen the testing infrastructure required in the battle against COVID-19 pandemic in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Industries Limited in association with Health and Medical Education Department has launched fabrication and installation of booth type Standardized COVID WISK (Walk-in Sample Collection Kiosk).
The initiative has been started to ensure the safety of health workers while collecting samples to test for the COVID-19 infection.
JKI has taken up this programme on the instructions of Commissioner Secretary, I&C, M K Dwivedi.
The sample collection kiosk has been made as per the prescribed guidelines after inspection and approval by a senior team of officials of Health and Medical Education Department.
JKI has been instructed by Commissioner Secretary I&C to provide such kiosks at all places identified by the Health Department within the shortest period of time to give an impetus to the ongoing testing activities and early detection of the deadly virus in J&K.
