Kupwara : Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg Wednesday sanctioned relief of Rs 2 lakh in favour of two households at the rate of Rs one lakh each, whose houses were damaged in recent cross border shelling (CBS) in Reddi-Chowkibal and Tumminah-Panzgam of district Kupwara.
The Deputy Commissioner said the relief was provided out of Red Cross Fund for timely rehabilitation of the sufferers.
The concerned Tehsildar, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Wednesday handed over relief cheques to the sufferers.
