Aijaz Khan welcomes online disbursement of salaries to deptts, demands it’s deferment till restoration of 4G internet services

Srinagar: Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) an amalgam of several employee associations Aijaz Ahmad Khan on Tuesday welcomed the introduction of online disbursement of the salaries employees with a demand to defer it till restoration of 4 G high speed internet services or restored 4 G internet services immediately. He also sought immediate disbursement of salaries to daily wagers and their regularization under SRO 520 with an additional demand for action into the beating of a store keeper of the food, civil supplies and consumer affairs (FCS&CA) department in Khumriyal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district .
In a statement issued on Tuesday Khan welcomed the decision of the government to transfer the salaries of the employees to their concerned department but demanded either deferment of the decision till the restoration of 4 G mobile internet services or immediate restoration of 4 G mobile internet services. He also demanded immediate disbursement of the salaries of the employees of different departments and regularization of their services under SRO 520 particularly those working in PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Roads & Buildings (R&B), firsheries and allied departments. Expressing his serious concern over the physical harassment of the employees of food, civil supplies and consumer affairs (FCS&CA) department khan demanded immediate probe into the incident of the beating of a store keeper at Khumriyal in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. He appealed people to stay indoors and follow the advisories of the government on COVID-19 lockdown to make covid containment measures a success.
