School Education Deptt issues orders for placement of 34 headmasters as I/C ZEOs

Srinagar: School Education Department Monday issued orders for placement of 34 headmasters as in-charge Zonal Education Officers.
The order issued by Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon reads that the 34 I/C Headmasters & equivalent are hereby placed as I/C Zonal Education Officers & equivalent, in their own pay and grade for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up on regular basis whichever is earlier.
“The officers in their placement as I/C ZEOs & equivalent shall be entitled to charge allowances as admissible under rules,” the order reads.
“The above placement, however is purely stop-gap arrangement and shall not confer any superior claim or right upon them at the time of confirmation/regularization through DPC”, the order reads.
