Srinagar/April,20 : The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance examinations has extended the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test and Polytechnic Entrance Test 2020. According to the notification provided on the official website, the application dates for the CET and PEt 2020 have been extended to May 10, 2020. Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir CET and PET 2020 was extended to April 20, 2020.
The applications for the CET and PET 2020 have been extended to the COVIDd-19 lockdown being extended to May 3, 2020. Earlier, the board had extended the applications until April 20, 2020, due to the initial national lockdown which has now been extended to May 10, 2020.Candidates yet to apply can visit the official website – jkbopee.gov.in. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination has also postponed the CET 2020 examinations scheduled to be conducted on April 26, 2020, until further notice. The new dates for the examinations will be released on the official website soon. The Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test is conducted for the admissions to the Engineering and Technology programmes offered by the institutions in Jammu & Kashmir while the Jammu and Kashmir Polytechnic Entrance Test 2020 is conducted for the admissions to the 3-year engineering diploma courses offered by various polytechnic institutions in the state.
