Srinagar: Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Gazanfar Ali, chaired a meeting of officers to discuss various issues regarding the functioning of the corporation, here Friday.
Threadbare discussion was held in the meeting which was attended by the senior officers of the corporation. The issue of fake news being circulated in some section of media which is being attributed to the SMC officials was also discussed.
On the occasion, the Commissioner designated three officers who can speak to the media on behalf of the Corporation.
The Commissioner designated Joint Commissioner, Administration, Syed Abul Qasim and Secretary, Sofi Mohammad Akbar as spokespersons for the SMC functioning while Health officer, Dr Qazi Javiad was asked to spoke to media on health and hygiene.
