Jammu: As administration has asked people to remain at homes to contain the spread of Coronavirus, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region is extending its support by distributing Masks and Germicide soaps to poor and needy families of the society.
Secretary IRCS Jammu Region, Vinod Malhotra along with his staff members distributed ration and other food items to 310 poor families at Nanak Nagar, Preet Nagar, Gangyal and its adjoining areas.
Besides this, Masks and Germicide Soaps were distributed amongst the vendors and labourers of Sabzi Mandi, Fruit Mandi and Warehouse. They were also educated how to deal with current situation of COVID-19, avoid gathering as well as make social distancing.
