DM Kishtwar reviews the enforcement of lock down measures

Kishtwar: District Magistrate Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara Monday visited the Kandani and Drabshalla markets of Kishtwar to inspect the enforcement of lock down measures there.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar , Tehsildar Drabshalla Shoaib Latief and DSP Mohd Ashrif Lissery among others.
He also visited the Thatri entry point and reviewed the status of screening of passengers and commercial vehicles carrying essentials. He interacted with the passengers and drivers of commercial vehicles carrying essentials.
He was briefed by Naib Tehsildar Drabshalla, Mohd Ehsan Zargar and Naib Tehsildsar Balgran Rajinder Singh about the various protocols adopted for checking of passengers.
DM also inspected the log book and entry register and asked the team of doctors posted there to check all the passengers thoroughly and handle any suspected or symptomatic case as per protocols.
He further directed the Police Inspector Sandeep Parihar to ensure that no person enters illegally into the kishtwar district.
Further DM also impressed upon the Naib Tehsildar not to allow any vehicle into the jurisdiction of Kishtwar without proper santization besides stressed upon educating the passengers about the various SOPs and protocols related to COVID-19 prevention.
