Karnah: The Covid-19 laid its tentacles on this frontier tehsil also after a male from Bagballa village of Karnah tested positive yesterday. The area has entirely been sealed by the police and administration.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), after a single case on yesterday tested positive, authorities directed locals to remain away from public gatherings and confine themselves into homes. However as per locals fumigation drive has not yet been conducted in the infected areas.
When Kashmir News Service (KNS) Contacted Station House officer Karnah Waseem Ahmad, he confirmed that area had been sealed with no body being allowed to leave the area or enter it. He also said that people had been appealed by police to remain in thier houses by public address system and police personnel deployed in the area had been increased.
Meanwhile After found one person positive for corona virus, adminstration in karnah is engaged in tracing the contact on war footing basis.
The administration has declared Baghbella as red zone village. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Karnah told KNS that contact tracing covid-19 positive person is done and all other protocols are being followed.
The SDM further applead people to don’t pay heed to rumor and just stay indoors and maintain social distancing while combating this pandemic.
He requested people to reveal their travel history as well as contact history without delaying the process as it can spread and harm community as well. (KNS)
