Stop fiddling with job rights of JK youth, would move SC for immediate ruling on Art 35 A vis-a-vis state subject law: Akbar Lone to Centre

Srinagar: Senior National Conference leader and Member Parliament from Baramulla Parliamentary constituency Mohammad Akbar Lone on Saturday slammed the central government for fiddling with the job rights of Jammu & Kashmir by invoking new domicile law and announced that his party would move Supreme Court with an application of urgency for immediate order on Article 35 A governing job and land rights of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
Talking to Kashmir Horizon Lone said “the domicile laws invoke for job rights of the people of Jammu & Kashmir is unacceptable and would be challenged through an application of urgency for immediate decision on article 35 A that governed the job rights of the people in Jammu and also on article 370”. Saying that nothing short of restoration of Article 370 and Article 35 A is acceptable to National Conference and the people of Jammu & Kashmir Lone alleged that the constitutional assault on Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 last year has been challenged in the apex court of the country and Central Government must not take any decision on constitutional and legal matters concerning Article 370 and Article 35 A as a mark of respect to the apex court of the country till a final verdict on the petitions filed by National Conference and others.
