Srinagar/April,5: Saying that the new domicile law for jobs was full of ambiguities , Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen on Sunday urged the Centre to address all the concerns and apprehensions being expressed over the issue. He has asked all the mainstream political parties to make a common case before the Central leadership to seek exclusive rights to all government jobs for the youth who are hereditary state subjects of state.
In a statement issued here on Sunday Hakeem said , though it was heartening to note that the government in its amendment to the domicile law , has kept all jobs for the youth of the state but the conditions for becoming a domicile have not been changed, which has made the issue apprehensive , so it needs a clarification . He has asked all the political parties of the state to rise above thier individual interests and jointly approach the Centre to ensure that all the jobs are secured for the J&K youth only , without any ambiguity.
Hakeem Yaseen has said that , post abrogation of Art.370, the central leadership has , on many occasions , promised protection to the domicile rights of the people of the state including exclusive rights on the government jobs to the youth and has urged the Prime Minister of the country to fulfill these assurances , in the better interests of the country.
