Jammu/Srinagar, April 1: Hundreds of RET teachers of Jammu and Kashmir UT are with out salaries from past more than a year due to their pending transition process into teacher grade II and III snd they are facing hardships due to the financial problems during the present circumstances .
According to a press release issued here by forum media in charge MA wani reads that the Jammu Kashmir rehabar-e -taleem teachers forum (JKRETTF) Chairman FA Tantray said that due to the lock down the divisional committee framed by the department for the transition process was not held their meeting on Tuesday at director education Office Jammu. Similarly hundreds of orders are also pending at director education office Kashmir.
Forum chairman FA Tantray on behalf of the Representative of teaching community appealed Principal secretary education Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon to kindly intervene into the matter and for temporary relief at least salaries, should be released in favour of these teachers who transition process is pending. He more said that during the present circumstances these teacher’s are in the verge of starvation and due to lock down no shopkeeper is ready to give essential house hold items to them on credit bases. Forum chairman also thanked the principal secretary for issuing of 115 grade II orders in recent past at Kashmir and requested for the redressal of pending issues at an earliest so the teachers may not suffer more .
