Director FCS&CA directs deduction one day salary of the employees of his directorate for J&K Relief Fund

Srinagar/March,30 : The Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir on Monday directed the deduction of one day salary of the employees of his department and remittance of the same in the J&K Government’s bank account opened for the “Jammu & Kashmir Relief Fund” as per the decision of the Jammu and Kashmir Government and offered by Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution department.
An letter issued by the Director Food,Civil Suppies & Consumer Affairs addressed to Chief Accounts Officer and All Assistant Directors (DDOs) of Kashmir Division said ” deduct one day salary (basic pay) from all the Gazetted Officers/Non Gazetted /Class IV officials toward the J&K Relief Fund for fight against COVID-19,Coronovirus Pandemic from the salary of March,2020 and remit the same into CD Account No: 0367010200000061 for further necessary action. It may be mentioned that Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) an amalgam of several employees associations had in a meeting under the chairmanship of its Chairman Aijaz Ahmad Khan decided to offer contribution of one day salary of the government employees particularly of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department towards J&K Relief Fund for which the government has opened an account at J&K Bank Moving Secretariat Branch Jammu/Srinagar.Similar orders for deduction of one day salary of the government employees were issued by Director School Education Department and several other Kashmir directorates of different departments
