Information Deptt holds exclusive press conference, Kansal answers questions on phone

Jammu: To encourage the practice of physical distancing, Principal Secretary, Rohit Kansal who is also the Government Spokesperson today interacted with the media persons using Social Networking platform. He also held telephonic conversation with media fraternity and responded to their queries with regard to Government efforts in controlling spread of Covid-19.
Large no. of media persons raised their queries on efforts and measures being taken by the Government for prevention, containment and management of coronavirus which were responded in detail by Principal Secretary.
Meanwhile, the media persons hailed this initiative of the Government for sharing all relevant information with them while maintaining physical distancing.
Rohit Kansal further appealed the media persons to believe only on authentic information being provided by the Government on daily basis and in case of any query, they may contact the officers directly associated with the coronavirus efforts in the Union Territor
