Srinagar: The Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir on Wednesday rubbished the complaints of ration shortage in Kashmir valley and instead clarified that ration for the month of April will be delivered at the doorsteps of the people across Kashmir.
When asked about the complaints of ration shortage in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir valley the Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir told Kashmir Horizon “ the ration for the month of March has been already reached consumers across Kashmir and the complaints of ration shortage are totally false”, adding that “ keeping in view the situation prevailing in the aftermath of countrywide lockdown due to fears of coronavirus spread the government would ensure home delivery of the ration for the month of April”. Saying that a formal order for the home delivery of the ration would be issued by the government within a day or two the Director FCS&CA (Kashmir) said “there is no need of panic. Let people be reassured that ration for the month of April will be delivered at their homes in coming days”.
