Srinagar: Amid Coronavirus scare, popular programs on Srinagar Kendra of the national broadcaster, Doordarshan have gone off the air. From Wednesday morning no programs including ”Good Morning J&K”, ”Halaat-e-Hazira”, are being aired on Doordarshan.
Confirming this, an official said that Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar has stopped telecast of almost all in-house programs. He said the decision was taken in a meeting and it was decided that as a precautionary measures in-house programs be stopped immediately.
The official said that only those programs of national importance with regard to combat Coronavirus including medical updates will be aired from the Kendra.
