DM Kishtwar notifies addl Quarantine facilities, also inspects facilities

Kishtwar: District Magistrate Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara had notified 13 additional quarantine facilities and asked for their immediate take over with an aim to be fully prepared for tackling any emergency situation that may arise due to prevailing threat of spreading corona virus.
The notified new quarantine facilities are at GHSS Girls Kishtwar, GHSS Boys Kishtwar, B.V.M. HSS Kishtwar, Adarsh Balniketan HS Kishtwar, GDC Kishtwar, Girls Hostel Chhatroo, Gujjar and Bakarwal hostel Chhatroo, Girls Hostel Sarthal, Himalayan Culture Centre Gumpa Padder, CFC building Padder, NHPC and CVPP buildings kishtwar, Bursar House NHPC Kishtwar and Bait ul Zayreen near Hidyal Chowk Kishtwar.
Tehsildars Kishtwar, Chhatroo and Padder have been directed for immediate takeover of these buildings besides to make these facilities fully functional.
CMO has been directed to deploy medical teams at these quarantine facilities besides District Treasury Officer has been asked to provide the necessary logistics support required to make these centres fully functional.
DM also visited various notified quarantine facilities centres and took the first hand review of various facilities like availability of sufficient space, water, electricity, ventilation etc. He asked the nodal officers to ensure that all facilities are kept in place.
Earlier, DM also held an orientation programme for nodal officers appointment for the various notified quarantine facilities during which they were sensitized about the various SOPs and precautionary measures to be undertaken for safe and secure handling of these quarantine centres.
