Jammu : Jammu Muslim Front Monday strongly criticized the recent order from the Government about daily wagers salary cut, terming it an inhuman act, which a civilized society will disapprove, as the order violates the social guarantee, contrary to the preambles of constitution of India and is in violation of economic justice and clause.
Chairman Jammu Muslim Front, Shuja Zaffar appealed Lt. Governor to repeal the order in the interest of these daily rated workers.
He said that such an action will deprive these daily rated workers of the right to live; already many of them have not been paid salaries.
He said, “Government is duty bound to ensure security and safety of its citizens and also appealed private business houses and traders not to lay off their employees.”
“Such actions will create an atmosphere of mistrust and increase the miseries of the families of a large number of people, when times are testing”, he said.
