JJammu : As a precautionary measure in the wake of Covid-19 threat, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) started a disinfection drive at its Bari Brahmana campus in Jammu. To contain the spread of coronavirus, G.M. Dar, Director JKEDI has advised all the employees at main campuses and district offices to follow precautions as prescribed by the health department.

The office complex of JKEDI was cleaned and sprayed with disinfectants. The open space in the campus vicinity was also cleaned and fumigated. In the past few weeks, the Government has issued various advisories to limit the spread of the coronavirus. JKEDI has limited the entry of outside visitors in their offices. The information regarding various schemes implemented by the Institute can be availed through helpline numbers and website of the Institute. These numbers have been displayed outside on the gates of the organization.

The Director has issued instructions to the estates’ section of the Institute, which looks after the housekeeping, to regularly disinfect the office space and provide hand sanitizers at each entry of the campus. “The steps we take now will help us in the long run against this pandemic. We will continue this process of disinfection regularly and do our bit to control the spread of this virus”, said G.M. Dar, Director JKEDI.
