Home Deptt designates Dr Lone as FPA, Gurpreet as PIO

Jammu/March, 20: The Government on Friday designate two KAS officers as first appellate authority (FPA) and Public Information Officer (PIO) respectively for the home department. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department designated following officers as the first appellate authority and public information officer (PIO) respectively :
1.Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Govemmment, Home Department, designated as First Appellate Authority, in pursuance of Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 and the rules framed there under.
2. Gurpreet Singh, KAS, Deputy Secretary to the Govemment, Home Department, as Public Information Officer, in pursuance of Section 5(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 and the rules framed there under.
