Srinagar, Mar 19: The authorities at Srinagar Airport detained scores of girls on their arrival from Bangladesh and confined them to isolation but surprisingly they let off the daughters of former deputy inspector general of police Rafiq-ul-Hassan, a sitting judge of the lower judiciary and a famed mainstream leader.
Aggrieved parents while talking to Kashmir Horizon said that authorities let off the daughters of influncial cops, judges, bureacrats and political leaders without confining them to isolation but detained the daughters of the innocent people for confinement to isolation in view of covid-19 threat. They sought the intervention of lieutenant Governor, Advisor R R Bhatnagar, DGP and deputy commissioner Budgam for early release of their daughters without prolonging their unwanted detention as they have been already undergone the necessary tests at Delhi airport.
