No change in JK’s demography, domicile rights to JK very soon:Home Minister tells Altaf Bukhari led delegation

New Delhi/March,15: After a momentous meeting held with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, the delegation of Jammu Kashmir Apni Party led by its president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Sunday.
The delegation comprised of party leaders including Ghulam Hassan Mir, Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Zaffar Manhas, Vijay Bakaya, Vikram Malhotra, Manjeet Singh, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan, Javed Hassan Beigh, Usman Majeed, Choudhary Qamar Hussain, Raja Manzoor, Shoiab Lone, Abdul Majeed Padder, Abdul Rahim Rather, Syed Asghar Ali, Javaid Mirchal, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Yawar Ahmad Mir and Kamal Arora
The meeting which lasted for over two hours was held in a very congenial atmosphere. The delegation put forth important issues pertaining to socio-economic and political aspiration of people of Jammu and Kashmir and demanded immediate steps by the government of India in this regard.
Calling for immediate confidence building measures for making a conducive atmosphere in J&K, the delegation emphasized on fulfillment of the promises made by the Union Home Minister on floor of the Parliament on August 6, 2019.
The Home Minister assured the delegation that all possible steps would be taken by the government of India to empower people of Jammu and Kashmir, both economically and politically as well. He expressed confidence that visible changes will be seen on the ground in the next three to four months as he assured domicile rights for Jammu and Kashmir residents very soon with an assurance that no change in demography will be allowed.
