DC Ganderbal inspects quarantine facilities at NTPHC Shallabugh

Ganderbal: The Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal Saturday visited NTPHC Shallabugh, Ganderbal to inspect the quarantine facilities for suspected Covid-19 patients. During the visited, the DC was accompanied by CMO and other officials from health department.
During the visit, the DC inspected the facilities available in NTPHC including bedding, dustbins, cleanliness, washrooms and emergency and other sanitary material.
The CMO Ganderbal briefed the DDC about the facilities available and informed that 10 quarantine beds have been earmarked at NTPHC.
Meanwhile, awareness session was held in the premises of NTPHC during which CMO Ganderbal sensitized people present about precautionary measures to be taken to containing spread of the infection.
DDC while speaking on the occasion said district administration is monitoring the situation closely and people need not to panic regarding the threat of Corona virus.
He appealed people to not to heed rumours regarding Corona Virus and take basic precautions by maintaining personal hygiene, frequent hand washing with soap and avoiding social gathering.
