Coronavirus: Shopping malls, gyms, other places closed in Jammu

Jammu: In the run up of deadly coronavirus epidemic, the Jammu administration on Friday ordered closure of all shopping malls, gyms and other places across the district till March 31.

According to wire service KNO, an order was issued by the district administration Jammu today, ordering closure and suspension of activities in all Shopping Malls, Gyms, Swimming Pools and recreational Clubs till March 31.

The decision as per the officials has been taken as precautionary measure. The administration of Jammu has already ordered closure of Cinema halls as precautionary measure to ensure the virus is prevented from spreading. At least two positive cases have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir so far while as the administration in the Union Territory has also ordered closure of all the educational institutions including Schools, Colleges and Universities across J&K till March 31, 2020—(KNO)
