Jammu: In a bid to contain the spread of novel coronavirus in the state, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday suspended sports activities in all centres of J&K Sports Council located in the Jammu Province with immediate effect.
As per order issued by office of the Divisional Sports Officer here on Thursday read, “as per the directions of the Secretary J&K Sports Council, sports and coaching activities in all the centres of Jammu Province will remain off from March 13.”
The order, however, asked all coaches and trainees to strictly adhere to the directions issued.
Pertinent to mention here that the Srinagar Administration has already ordered closure of all sports stadium on Wednesday.
